All Sobral by Jackie Brazil artifacts are made in Brazil under Fair Trade conditions from resin, which is a by product of petrol, so is an eco friendly product. Resin begins as a clear liquid and later Sobral pieces acquire colour from Italian pigments. Once the resin has set it is cut, drilled, polished and assembled, which is a very labour intensive process.
No piece of artifact that Sobral creates is ever the same, look for the laser inscribed signature in all genuine pieces.
