When designer Marcia Maizel-Clarke recognized the need for jewelry that
speaks, she founded Dogeared Jewels & Gifts in 1991 and she created
the original word-jewelry and charms.
The response to these and the
success of the Make a Wish series of necklaces gave birth to a
trendsetting, innovative family of products that capture the magic of
words, symbols, wishes and dreams, a magic that has attracted international attention.
Dogeared's unique, custom cast jewels are
regularly featured in fashion, lifestyle, and celebrity publications, in films and in television shows. Dogeared is sold by trendsetting
retailers around the world, including Nordstrom, Fred Segal, Sundance, Intuition, and Red Envelope.
All Dogeared products are handcrafted in Los Angeles.
